About The Position

Tire Discounters is hiring a Sales Associate to grow store sales through customer relationships while delivering high levels of customer satisfaction. Sales Associates serve as trusted experts in auto maintenance and repair, evaluate customer needs, recommend appropriate products and services, and coordinate customer work orders through completion according to company policies and procedures. The role also includes maintaining the appearance of the store, promoting cooperation among team members, and helping in the shop as needed. The position requires Saturday availability and the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds. Pay is $35,000–$55,000+ annually, including monthly spiffs and a store bonus, and is paid weekly. Requirements

Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work on Saturdays.
Ability to stand for long periods, bend, and lift up to 75 lbs.
Valid driver's license.
Authorized to work in the USA and at least 18 years old.

Nice To Haves

Retail sales or customer service experience preferred.
Automotive experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Evaluate customer needs and recommend products and services accordingly.
Drive sales growth for the store, including making daily customer calls to increase sales opportunities.
Coordinate each customer's work order through completion, accurately following company policies, programs, and procedures.
Provide outstanding customer service to every customer.
Take accountability for the presentation of the property, both inside and outside the store.
Promote a culture of cooperation and collaboration among team members.
Assist in the shop as necessary.
