About The Position

Feeders Pet Supply Sales Associates help customers find suitable pet products and provide guidance on pet care. The role includes greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, operating the register, stocking and merchandising merchandise, and maintaining a clean and safe store. Associates also care for animals in the store by feeding and watering them, cleaning their enclosures, and meeting company standards. Employee training is provided to help associates learn about pet care and store products.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in both internal and external environments and in hot and cold temperatures.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to make home deliveries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and demonstrate knowledge of store products, services, and promotions.
• Greet customers, answer pet-care questions, and help customers choose products and services.
• Operate the cash register, accurately enter sales, receive payments, process credit card transactions, and provide correct change.
• Feed and water animals in the store, clean their enclosures, and ensure their care complies with company standards.
• Maintain neat and effective merchandising, including store resets and building or changing endcaps.
• Unload or put out stock from trucks or the warehouse, stock shelves, and rotate perishable goods.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
