About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate joins the Express team and provides retail customers with a great in-store shopping experience while helping with additional store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role involves maintaining a safe and inviting store, supporting customer transactions and service, and encouraging participation in credit and loyalty programs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of relevant experience, proficiency with technology such as iPads and registers, availability that includes nights, weekends, and non-business hours, and the ability to meet the role’s physical requirements. Previous retail experience is preferred. The listed pay range is $12.00–$19.50 per hour; actual compensation depends on factors including work location, education, skills, and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of six months.
• Proficiency using technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customers to participate.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
