About The Position

The primary purpose of this role is to maintain customer service according to company standards, generate sales, perform housekeeping, merchandising, signing, pricing, point of sale operations, process freight, and ensure loss prevention in adherence to all company policies and store standards. The role involves greeting and acknowledging every customer, answering their questions, and helping them locate products. It also includes answering incoming phone calls, maintaining constant radio communication with associates, and possessing comprehensive knowledge of the products sold. The associate will stay updated on product knowledge and merchandise promotions, and assist with floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and store housekeeping. Additional duties include helping in other departments when needed and performing daily cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, replacing trash bags, and sweeping the department floor. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing work environments and to shift priorities accordingly.
• Familiar with how to operate a computer system and email.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Preferably familiar with standard retail concepts and practices.

Responsibilities
