About The Position

The Sales Associate provides quality customer service and drives product sales. This role requires knowledge of each product area or department, adherence to company policies and visual standards, and active promotion of sales and merchandise. The Sales Associate serves as an ambassador for the organization and brand, creating a distinctive customer experience that helps acquire and retain customers. The position also supports day-to-day store operations, including work lists, cleanup, shipments, and store maintenance. The Sales Associate works to meet sales goals, communicates merchandise and operational concerns to management, attends staff meetings and tech clinics, and helps protect company assets and financial information.

Requirements

0–2 years of customer service experience.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked.
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and precisely.
Team player passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.

Responsibilities

Provide extraordinary customer service, including assisting customers as they enter the store and helping multiple customers during peak periods.
Promote and sell the organization's services and merchandise.
Set goals to improve selling skills and track overall sales.
Follow company policies, procedures, and standards in the operations, personnel, visual, and customer service manuals, as well as company memos.
Assist with daily store operations, including work lists, cleanup lists, weekly shipments, and store maintenance.
Present merchandise to promote and sell goods, using guidance from the product knowledge manual.
Achieve and/or exceed sales targets and goals.
Identify and communicate merchandise needs, pricing concerns, and operational problems to store management.
Attend all store staff meetings and tech clinics.
Protect company assets and financial information by ensuring internal control procedures are accurate and effective and reporting potential fraud risks to management or appropriate officials.
