About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style. The Sales Associate provides an excellent in-store shopping experience and assists with additional store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role is at the Fairlane Town Center store.

The associate maintains clean, organized, safe, and inviting sales-floor, checkout, fitting-room, and stock-room areas; follows company safety policies and procedures; and assists with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. The associate delivers the customer experience model, processes transactions quickly and accurately, resolves customer service issues or escalates them to management, and promotes credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits. Other essential duties may be assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• At least six months of relevant experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant job experience.
• Proficiency using technology, including iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized sales-floor, checkout, fitting-room, and stock-room areas to keep the store safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product-launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
