About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a passionate, customer-focused, results-driven part-time Sales Associate to build customer relationships and provide a welcoming, positive shopping experience in the store and community. The associate helps customers find products, provides personalized service and styling advice, and contributes to sales goals while supporting store operations and maintaining merchandise presentation. The role involves working collaboratively with the store team and addressing customer needs in a friendly, solution-oriented way.

Requirements

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Enthusiastic team player with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, maneuvering around the store, hanging and folding merchandise, and climbing ladders.
• Ability to operate POS registers and other company mobile devices.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and participate in joint or team lifts.

Responsibilities

• Build meaningful connections with customers by providing personalized service and styling advice.
• Assist customers in finding products and contribute to sales goals while ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
• Develop a strong understanding of J.Jill merchandise to provide guidance and recommendations.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and execute floor sets.
• Participate in operational functions, including marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, store cleanliness, and backroom organization.
• Work with team members to create a positive and supportive work environment.
• Proactively address customer needs and concerns with a friendly, solution-oriented approach.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to support store success.
