About The Position

Mattress Warehouse is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to provide exceptional customer service and sell premium mattress and bedding products. Associates use the company’s proven selling process and bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system, which uses 18 measurements and personalized recommendations to help customers find suitable sleep solutions. The role focuses on creating a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience and helping customers improve their lives through better sleep.

The position is part of a team-oriented retail environment at a family-owned and operated company with more than 520 stores. Associates may work a typical four- to five-day retail schedule totaling 40 to 55 hours per week. Mattress Warehouse offers paid training, ongoing feedback, learning resources, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements

• Motivation, high energy, enthusiasm, and a team-oriented attitude.
• Enjoy meeting and interacting with customers and understanding their needs.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Availability to work a retail schedule that includes evenings, most holidays, and all weekends.
• Bilingual fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish or another language.

Responsibilities

• Sell premium mattress and bedding products using the company’s selling process and bedMATCH® diagnostic sleep system.
• Provide customers with a relaxed, low-pressure, educational shopping experience focused on their needs.
• Use tablets, mobile point-of-sale (POS) technology, and the bedMATCH system.
• Reset the showroom floor.
• Assist customers with loading mattress purchases into their vehicles.
