About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends. The role executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. The position is part-time, with a required availability range of 20–40 hours per week and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.

Requirements

• Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
• Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
• Ability to work 20–40 hours per week, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
• Frequently lift or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 35 pounds.
• Frequently sit or stand for long periods and climb ladders as needed.
• Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
• Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.
• Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
• Focus on full-price selling while remaining aware of product value and promotions.
• Handle customer situations according to policy and procedure, attempt to resolve issues, and involve leadership in escalated matters.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and on time.
• Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness to support a safe working and shopping environment.
• Comply with company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, the Safety Program, and Loss Prevention policies; report violations to leadership or the Silent Witness Hotline.
• Share customer feedback with the leadership team to improve the customer experience.
• Participate in company and store contests and events, and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
• Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
• Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
• Represent the PacSun brand through enthusiasm for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
• Contribute to a positive working environment by demonstrating core value behaviors.
• Adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines and maintain the company's fashion image.
• Learn about products, brands, fashion, and trends, and work to improve individual performance as a productive team member.
