About The Position

The Sales Associate provides excellent customer service, supports stock and replenishment, and maintains the brand and overall appearance of the store. The role contributes to sales and other performance goals, builds customer relationships, supports store operations, and follows visual merchandising and security procedures. The position is part-time and regular.

Requirements

Must be at least 16 years of age.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must present a neat appearance and maintain personal grooming.
Must be able to stand for long periods throughout the shift.
Must be able to lift 15–30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Achieve or exceed established goals, including sales, hourly productivity, average dollar sale, units per transaction, conversion, charge accounts, contests, and other brand-specific KPIs.
Participate in contests, promotions, and sales incentive programs, and maintain awareness of sales promotions.
Use the selling skills and customer service standards provided in Company training programs.
Develop and maintain customer relationships through a friendly attitude and excellent service.
Answer the telephone in a friendly and professional manner.
Meet Company standards for store appearance, performance, product knowledge, and store operations.
Assist store management as needed to maintain the store.
Keep the sales floor and stock area clean and organized.
Follow visual merchandising standards, including straightening and filling fixtures and colorizing displays as directed by the Store Manager or Assistant Manager.
Assist the Store Manager or Assistant Manager with timely, accurate markdowns.
Complete work within deadlines, ask for additional assignments, and perform with minimal supervision.
Follow security policies and procedures, including zone defense.
Recognize and react to potential loss-prevention issues; help prevent shortages by promptly serving customers and notifying management about potential external or internal theft.
