Part time Temporary Sales Associate $15/hr
About The Position
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards and may include cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs. Associates promote a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect, and provide and receive recognition and constructive feedback. The position also involves complying with labor laws, policies, and procedures, supporting shrink reduction and safety programs, and performing other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers while modeling customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
