This field-based role works directly with a Sales Representative to aid in the planning, directing, and coordination of selling, marketing, and promotion of Stryker products. The primary responsibilities include covering for Stryker employees on leaves of absence or supporting other business coverage needs, maintaining strong customer relationships, and achieving budgeted objectives for profitability and volume. The role requires frequent travel, sometimes on short notice, to perform sales tasks, maintain customer relationships, and provide coverage in multiple territories across the country. The Sales Associate will educate healthcare professionals on product use and functionality, direct product evaluations, and may assist with trade shows and conventions. Problem-solving for customers and managing sample inventory are also key duties. Adherence to OSHA, GMP, and FDA guidelines is mandatory.
