About The Position

Orangetheory Fitness South Lyon is seeking a passionate Sales Associate to enhance the member experience and represent the OTF community. The role supports the studio’s sales and daily operations, welcoming visitors, introducing prospects to Orangetheory, and helping members and potential members feel supported. The position is part-time, with open availability preferred, and may assist with morning, afternoon, and/or evening class schedules.

The Sales Associate presents the Orangetheory concept and studio tours, works with trainers to guide prospects through their first workout, and sells memberships while pursuing assigned personal sales goals. The role also includes front-desk duties, prospective-client follow-up and outreach, responding professionally to member concerns, supporting marketing and outreach events, and keeping the studio clean and organized.

Orangetheory describes its offering as a one-hour, full-body heart-rate-zone and strength-training workout designed to provide a personalized group experience and improve overall fitness. The company emphasizes motivating people who visit or contact the studio and creating a positive impact for members and the community.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome everyone entering the studio with enthusiasm, energy, and knowledge.
• Present the Orangetheory concept to interested prospects, or “intros.”
• Maintain the front desk, including answering phones, speaking with members, and handling other arising tasks.
• Present studio tours to potential members.
• Collaborate with trainers to guide intros through their first Orangetheory workout.
• Sell memberships to support studio growth while achieving assigned personal sales goals.
• Follow up with prospective clients and make other outreach calls to support studio growth.
• Handle member concerns in a professional and objective manner.
• Participate in studio marketing and outreach events.
• Ensure all studio areas are clean and organized.
