The Sales Associate promotes and sells merchandise displayed on the showroom floor, working directly with internal and external customers. This role involves following up on customer orders and inquiries, assisting with merchandise-related problems in conjunction with customer service and warehouse operations, and collaborating with other departments to ensure customer needs are met. The Sales Associate will engage customers by asking questions about products, prices, availability, and uses to understand their needs, explaining product features and benefits effectively, and preparing sales tickets for orders. They will also assist customers in making product selections, recommend products based on customer specifications, and describe merchandise, its use, operation, and care. Continuous education on new products, policies, and advertisements is required, along with knowledge of effective sales and promotion methods. Excellent customer relations, including follow-up via email and phone, are essential. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
