Outdoor Power Equipment Sales Associate [FNR]
About The Position
Bring your interest in outdoor power equipment and solving mechanical problems to JAX Farm & Ranch in North Fort Collins, and make someone's day by answering questions and helping out our hard-working customers at JAX! Applicants for this role find satisfaction in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing tools, doing things like fixing that lawn mower that has been sitting in the back of the garage and debating the pros and cons of the different chainsaw brands and models available. Make someone's day by quickly accomplishing repairs and maintenance for power equipment used by our hard-working customers at JAX! Our Sales Associates are responsible for greeting customers, providing honest and informative answers to questions, making suggestions about products that customers might want, and performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation. All JAX employees are expected to provide excellent customer service, engaging with people and sharing excitement about our store. Responsibilities include stocking shelves, assisting the Department Manager, and providing customer feedback to Department Managers and the Buyers Team so our stores remain stocked with only the best products our customers have come to expect from JAX.
Requirements
- Prior customer service experience
- Previous knowledge or retail experience with outdoor power or automotive equipment required
- Computer proficiency required
- Works well with others
- Organizational skills
- Engaging and positive
- Attention to detail
- Must be available Sundays, Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge about the brands carried by JAX preferred
- Cashiering experience desired
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers
