About The Position

Trek DOTS Sales Associates support Trek’s mission by providing excellent hospitality to customers and helping more people get into cycling. They guide customers from arrival through purchase, helping them accomplish their cycling goals, maintain their bicycles, and have great riding experiences. Associates develop sales and hospitality skills through training, role-playing, and on-the-job experience, and full-time associates are expected to achieve individual annual sales targets of at least $400,000. When not assisting customers, associates help maintain the store, merchandise, and bicycles.

Responsibilities

Provide customers with hospitality and guidance throughout their store experience using Trek’s Guide Sales Process.
Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets; full-time Sales Associates are expected to reach at least $400,000 per fiscal year.
Learn about bikes, components, apparel, and technology.
Participate in daily huddles and debriefs.
Follow up on quotes and lead-list communications.
Make decisions about customer care and doing the right thing for customers.
Maintain Trek University Guide Status by completing Trek U modules on products, services, and procedures.
Complete assignments on the Daily Task List when not assisting customers.
Maintain store merchandising according to visual merchandising standards, including product placement, price auditing, and restocking.
Complete weekly cycle counts.
Assemble or pre-assemble new bicycles.
Prepare customer bicycles for service by Service or Production Technicians.
