About The Position

Tommy Bahama is seeking a Sales Associate to represent the brand and help create a relaxed, welcoming store experience. The associate greets guests, helps them find merchandise that suits their needs, shares product knowledge and recommendations, and provides professional service. The role also involves communicating the brand’s direction and current marketing programs, participating in store meetings, and working toward sales and service goals set by store management. The position requires varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, and includes physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for shifts of up to eight hours.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A “get things done” mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders occasionally.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn, reference, and share current product knowledge, offering recommendations, fit and fashion advice, and suggested add-ons.
• Communicate the brand’s direction and inform guests about current marketing programs and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
