- Experience and interest in camping, hiking, biking, skiing, and a variety of outdoor adventures is highly preferred
- Previous retail experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Greeting customers
- Providing honest and informative answers to questions
- Making suggestions about products that customers might want
- Performing necessary tasks for efficient department operation
- Stocking shelves
- Tracking down products for customers
- Keeping the department tidy
- Relaying customer feedback to their manager
- Assisting with visual merchandising of products in the store
- Accurately processing payments
- Helping with visual merchandising
- Maintaining a clean and well-stocked area
- Complete record-keeping tasks and contributing to reports
- Learning about products to provide better answers to customer questions
- Assisting in loss prevention efforts
- Communicating professionally
- Presenting a professional appearance and demeanor
- Taking steps to advance teamwork and develop solid working relationships with co-workers
