About The Position

The Sales Associate’s primary function is to sell and promote Perry Ellis merchandise by executing the company’s customer service standards. The role includes greeting customers, helping them find products or understand how to use them, and processing purchases at the POS register. The position supports a positive store experience through attentive customer service, product and promotion knowledge, sales goal awareness, and adherence to operational and visual standards. Associates help maintain floor coverage, displays, recovery, and replenishment, and are expected to remain productive throughout their shifts and report to work on time.

Responsibilities

Interact with customers in a courteous and friendly manner, including maintaining eye contact and smiling.
Generate sales in accordance with Perry Ellis customer service standards.
Build a repeat customer base through data capture for the PE Loyalty Program.
Maintain strong knowledge of products, promotions, and special events to communicate effectively with customers.
Foster a positive store experience by treating customers and staff fairly and consistently.
Maintain effective floor coverage, acknowledge every customer, and prioritize customers over assigned tasks.
Use idle time productively to replenish products, maintain visual displays, and engage with customers.
Report to work on time.
Demonstrate flexibility with the work schedule.
Understand individual and store sales goals.
Follow operational policies and procedures.
Follow management guidance to execute visual standards, recovery, and replenishment.
