About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for the Express store in Carlsbad. The Sales Associate provides an excellent in-store shopping experience and supports store operations through tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role involves maintaining an organized and safe store, supporting product launches, processing purchases, resolving customer service issues, and encouraging participation in credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting to customers.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine an appropriate resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customers to participate.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
