About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager is a leadership role that supports the Store Manager in store operations and helps ensure a safe, customer-focused environment. The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for Store Manager duties when the Store Manager is absent. The role also includes assisting customers with product purchases, building customer connections, and maintaining a positive attitude.

Requirements

2–4 years of experience as a supervisor or team lead at a retail store.
Must be at least 18 years old, unless otherwise indicated by the hiring manager due to local regulations.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States if hired.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 20 pounds.
Ability to work irregular shifts, including weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays.
Ability to stand and/or walk for at least 8 hours.
Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes of the workday, such as when assisting with stocking or maintaining inventory levels, using appropriate safety equipment.
Ability to occasionally climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials and place or remove signage.
