About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, help them find products for important moments in their parenting journey, and contribute to a positive shopping experience in a welcoming and inclusive environment. The role involves customer assistance, register transactions, store replenishment and shipment tasks, and helping maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Duties may be changed or reassigned at management’s discretion.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and customer engagement skills.
• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and support multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist customers with omnichannel services as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
