About The Position

Mackey's is seeking a self-motivated individual with a passion for helping people to join their team as a Sales/Service Associate. This role focuses on providing phenomenal customer service, which is key to Mackey's success. Associates will partner with teammates to display, merchandise, stock, receive, and maintain the retail environment. Mackey's is a small business with big dreams, looking for individuals to join their mission of growth. The work environment is fast-paced retail, involving continuous customer and team interaction, and requires active movements such as reaching, bending, and lifting products ranging from 5-60 lbs. The role also involves exposure to varying temperatures and allergens due to seasonality, and requires prolonged periods of standing or walking.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older
Problem solver who is able to resourcefully overcome challenges
Leadership qualities such as leading by example and supporting the success of team members
Exhibit organization and prioritization skills to complete deliverables within deadlines while managing intermittent requests and interruptions
Recognize and seek opportunities to learn more about products and processes to enhance Mackey’s customer experience
Maintain teamwork and diversity awareness by having an inclusive approach to working with customers and team members
Proficient in Windows based software including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Nice To Haves

Customer service, cashier, accounting office and/or service desk experience, particularly in a retail setting
Write and speak clearly, concisely and with tact in a variety of settings using effective communication skills; demonstrating empathy and respect for others at all times
Experience leading a team or project
