About The Position

Mason's Hardware - Conroe location - is seeking a friendly and service-oriented Sales associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will assist customers with their shopping needs and ensure an excellent shopping experience. Responsibilities include working the register, stocking shelves, processing inventory, and maintaining the store’s appearance. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in customer service and knowledge of cash register operation.

Requirements

Ability to move and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to read, count, write, and communicate clearly and effectively
Understanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer service
Willingness to work well in a team environment
Ability to quickly and accurately work a register
Willingness to work a flexible schedule
Must speak English

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in customer service
Knowledge of cash register operation
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

Greet each customer with a smile and provide assistance while they are shopping.
Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
Work at a register to complete customer sales.
Collect payments by cash and credit card.
Issue receipts and refunds to customers.
Take added responsibility for stocking, inventory, and store cleanliness and maintenance.
Drive sales by participating in targeted product promotions and initiatives as set forth by the company.
Develop and maintain solid product knowledge in order to best help customers with their selections.
