About The Position

The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting customers throughout the retail store, with a primary focus on providing excellent customer service in the Pets Department. Daily duties include stocking 10-50lb dog and cat food bags, and the position requires availability on nights and weekends. The role involves heavy lifting and assisting customers with loadouts.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers throughout the retail store.
• Provide excellent customer service in the Pets Department.
• Perform Pet Grooming.
• Greet customers in the store.
• Handle cashier responsibilities.
• Answer product-related questions.
• Perform product assembly.
• Conduct general housekeeping.
• Stock 10-50lb dog and cat food bags.

• Price store merchandise and make price changes.
• Stock and face merchandise on shelves.
• Assist in receiving freight and organizing incoming products.
• Assist in cycle counts.
• Answer incoming telephone calls and handle appropriately.
• Handle customer transactions utilizing KCX cash register system.
• Ensure accurate cash handling.
• Handle customer returns.
• Perform housekeeping duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
