About The Position

The Sales Associate will deliver exceptional customer service, enhance customer engagement and satisfaction, and drive sales in the furniture, technology, and supplies areas of the store. They will set and achieve sales and margin goals with store leaders, ensure operational excellence, and uphold store brand standards. The role involves supporting all merchandising and signage standards, including planograms and stocking, and maintaining Health & Safety, Asset Protection, and Privacy Policies. Specifically, the associate will engage with and sell to customers by offering tailored products and services using available selling tools and techniques. They will handle transactions using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including shipping and marketing tools, and calmly de-escalate complex customer situations or refer them to a manager/supervisor. Additionally, the Sales Associate will maintain a clean and safe store environment by performing tasks such as dusting, front-facing products, and ensuring demo units are clean and functional.

Requirements

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Nice To Haves

  • 3 months to 1 year of prior retail experience (preferred).
