As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers and help them find products for important moments in their parenting journey, from baby essentials to back-to-school needs. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, supporting positive customer experiences and the store’s operations. Requirements

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers warmly and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist customers with omnichannel services as needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Complete and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Replenish the sales floor and process shipments as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
