Sales Associate
About The Position
The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer-experience principles, and maintaining a clean, organized store. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate models positive customer-service practices and contributes to a store culture of honesty, integrity, and respect. Duties include processing purchases and returns, promoting credit and loyalty programs, preparing and merchandising products, recovering the sales floor, maintaining store cleanliness and organization, supporting shrink-reduction and safety efforts, and following applicable labor laws and company procedures. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Engage and interact with customers to deliver a highly satisfying customer experience.
- Model established customer-experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain the entire store.
- Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
