About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores, an online store, and a mobile app. The Sales Associate will join the Express team at the Mall At Robinson and provide a great in-store shopping experience while helping with stocking, cleaning, folding merchandise, and other store tasks.

The role includes maintaining clean and organized sales, checkout, fitting room, and stockroom areas; following company safety policies and procedures; assisting with product launch changes according to company SOP; processing transactions quickly and accurately; resolving customer service issues or escalating them to Store Management; and encouraging participation in credit and loyalty programs. Other essential duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company SOP.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine a resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customer participation.
• Assist with additional store tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by the supervisor.
