About The Position

As a Sales Associate at Carter’s, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will welcome customers and help them find products for important moments in their parenting journey, in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment. The role involves customer service, product assistance, point-of-sale transactions, omnichannel support, replenishment, and maintaining a safe and clean store. Compensation ranges from $16.00 to $18.25 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
