About The Position
As a Sales Associate, you’ll support multiple areas of the store — from stocking shelves and organizing the yard to assisting with deliveries and helping customers find what they need. You’ll gain exposure to tools, building materials, outdoor equipment, and customer service while working alongside a team that’s here to support your success. This is a great entry-level opportunity with room to grow into new responsibilities and leadership roles. At Wood Shed, we believe in developing our people and recognizing potential.
Requirements
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the day
- Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in all weather
- Ability to work a flexible schedule , including weekends
Nice To Haves
- Prior retail, warehouse, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
- Leadership experience
- Worked in retail, construction, trades, or managed teams
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist with loading purchases
- Stock shelves and help keep store and yard areas organized
- Assist with unloading incoming freight
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Learn and follow store policies and safety standards
- Support various departments as needed (lumber, tools, rentals, etc.)
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided)
