About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident, and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico and online and mobile shopping channels.

The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers and assists with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role requires maintaining clean and organized store areas, following company safety procedures, supporting product launches, and delivering effective customer service. Associates also process transactions, resolve or escalate customer issues, and promote credit and loyalty programs.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least six months of relevant experience (with 0–2 years listed), proficiency with technology such as iPads and registers, availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours, and the ability to meet physical requirements. Previous retail experience is preferred. Compensation depends on factors including work location, education, relevant skills, and experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with technology, including iPads and registers.

• Ability to meet physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room to keep the store safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Positively resolve customer service issues, determine a resolution or escalate the issue, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
