About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is seeking a Retail Sales Associate for Express at its Chicago Ridge store. The Sales Associate provides a great in-store shopping experience for retail customers and assists with operational tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise. The role helps keep the store safe, clean, organized, and inviting while supporting customer transactions, service recovery, product launches, and credit and loyalty programs.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position’s physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, specifically with customers, sales leadership, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room to help ensure the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to support the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues positively, determine a resolution or escalate as appropriate, and communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Promote credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits and encouraging customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
