About The Position

Provides services for patients, families, visitors, and hospital staff. The Sales Associate greets every customer, determines each individual’s specific needs and fulfills those needs in a friendly, efficient manner.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Effective customer services and interpersonal communication skills.
• Excellent mathematical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Strong physical stamina and ability to work independently.
• Experience operating a cash register or computer is desired.
• Previous retail sales experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Resolves problems that arise with customers, physical plant or equipment and seeks an appropriate resolution.
• Maintains a clean, safe environment for staff and visitors.
• Answers phone calls, resolves questions, gives directions, and offers appropriate suggestions.
• Makes priority setting decisions, performs stock replenishment, maintains storage and merchandise presentation.
