About The Position
NORMAN’S, an employee-owned Hallmark Gold Crown retailer, is seeking a part-time Sales Associate for its Phoenixville Plaza location in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Sales Associates contribute to a caring team atmosphere and help customers celebrate occasions, share emotions, and find comfort. They serve as an accessible resource on the sales floor, answer customer questions, and provide a genuine, memorable customer experience. The role calls for initiative, teamwork, and excellence throughout customer interactions.
Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that meets business needs, including events, holidays, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to continuously stand and walk; frequently push and pull; occasionally bend, stoop, crawl, reach above shoulders, kneel, and climb a ladder; and carry up to 40 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example in applying the Customer CARE program and driving retail sales through genuine customer connections and relationship-building.
- Put the customer first and treat each customer as the most important individual to the business.
- Meet store-specific Crown Rewards enrollment goals consistently.
- Learn and use the register system efficiently to provide a positive point-of-sale experience.
- Use selling skills during customer interactions to build sales and customer satisfaction.
- Learn product knowledge for all merchandise and use it when selling to customers.
- Maintain and restock displays as directed by store management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
