Forge & Build is hiring a Sales Associate at our facility in Port Huron, MI. Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and fellow employees
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Standing, walking, lifting (up to 50lbs) and climbing required
- Inherent desire to learn and develop on an individual basis
- Strive for continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- Former retail or trade (ex: building, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist in the receiving, stocking, cleaning, merchandising and overall store cleanliness
- Maintain a friendly helpful attitude
- Assist customers in solving their problems
- Maintain a positive, professional and safe environment at all times
- Assist in keeping the sales floor clean and orderly, including signage and bintags
- Maintain strong product knowledge
- Provide outstanding customer service
