About The Position

Tommy Bahama is hiring a temporary Sales Associate to represent the brand and provide guests with a relaxed, enjoyable shopping experience. The role involves greeting guests, helping them find merchandise suited to their needs, sharing product knowledge and recommendations, and informing guests about brand marketing programs and upcoming events. Sales Associates participate in store meetings and work toward sales and service goals set by store management. The role also supports other business needs as required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of guest and sales experience.
• A proactive, get-things-done mindset.
• Ability to collaborate, identify opportunities, and take initiative.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel frequently.
• Ability to climb ladders occasionally.
• Ability to stand routinely for the duration of a shift, up to 8 hours.
• Willingness to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and help them locate or obtain merchandise based on their needs and preferences.
• Learn and share current product knowledge, offer prompt recommendations, and provide professional service, including fit and fashion advice and suggestions for additional items.
• Inform guests about brand direction, current marketing programs, and upcoming events.
• Participate in store-related meetings and work toward sales and service performance goals set by store management.
• Perform other duties as required to support the business.
