About The Position

The Sales Associate helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs by ensuring patients and customers receive a high-quality experience. The role supports sales objectives, recommends lenses and coatings using optical prescriptions, assists customers with frame selection and measurements, and helps maintain a welcoming, organized store environment. The position also contributes to a positive and inclusive workplace through respectful, professional relationships with customers and colleagues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change with a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell using sales skills and be accountable for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose appropriate vision solutions.
• Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and foster strong, professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain the appearance of the store and keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
• Help foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
