About The Position

Guy’s Quality Meats in Fort Pierce, Florida, is hiring a full-time Sales Associate/Account Representative. The role provides customer service and product sales support, including answering questions, recommending products, demonstrating merchandise, preparing quotes and bids, and supporting customers after a sale. The associate also helps maintain and replenish merchandise, update prices, and keep the work area clean.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Food experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Good organizational skills, including prioritizing work assignments and managing work time.
Ability to use computers, computer operating systems, and software programs.
High school diploma or equivalent certification.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Previous sales, retail, or related experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
Recommend products based on customers’ needs and interests.
Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features, and solicit orders.
Estimate or quote prices.
Consult with clients after sales or contracts to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
Prepare quotes and bids that meet specific customer needs.
Provide customers with product samples and catalogs.
Identify prospective customers using business directories and leads from existing customers.
Keep the work area clean.
Assist with processing and replenishing merchandise and monitoring floor stock.
Assist with completing price changes within the department.
Provide friendly, prompt, efficient, and courteous guest service.
Promote sales by assisting customers and offering suggestions.
