About The Position

As a Sales Associate, you are the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You welcome customers, help them find products for children and babies, and support their shopping experience throughout important family milestones. You work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment, assist customers across shopping channels, complete sales and store tasks, and help maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.25 per hour, based on experience and location.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed and frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, and pull.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and balance multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
