About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC is a retail platform operating Express and Bonobos. Express is a multichannel apparel brand offering modern, confident, and effortless styles for work, everyday wear, and special occasions. The Sales Associate joins the Express team at the Cool Springs store and helps provide an excellent in-store shopping experience. The role also includes operational tasks such as stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.

The associate maintains safe, clean, and organized sales and back-of-house areas; follows company policies and procedures; and assists with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures. The position delivers the customer experience, processes transactions accurately and promptly, resolves or escalates customer service issues, and promotes credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of relevant job experience; the posting lists 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the position's physical requirements.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates.
• Demonstrated collaboration skills and ability to work well within a team.

• Previous retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, checkout, fitting room, and stock room so the store is safe and inviting.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service-related issues when possible, or escalate them; communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty member programs and encourage customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning, and folding merchandise.
