About The Position
The Sales Associate creates an outstanding optical experience for Target Optical guests by combining product knowledge, personal experience, and a customer-focused approach. The role helps guests find eyewear that suits their needs, lifestyle, and preferences while promoting high-quality fashion brands. The position is casual part-time.
Requirements
- Enthusiasm for helping others and creating positive customer experiences.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage customers and drive sales.
- Comfort using technology and maintaining accuracy with transactions.
- Interest in eyewear and fashion trends, with the ability to help customers find a suitable look.
- Self-motivation, resilience, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and willingness to learn and grow.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in retail or customer service.
- Prior experience in optical retail or familiarity with optical products.
Responsibilities
- Meet sales targets and exceed expectations by connecting with customers and building lasting relationships.
- Help new and returning customers find products that meet their needs.
- Provide tailored advice and recommend eyewear solutions that fit each customer’s lifestyle and preferences.
- Participate in hands-on training and collaborate with experienced professionals to provide high-quality service.
- Work with the team and leadership to maintain a positive, supportive environment.
- Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing.
