About The Position

PHOENIX Retail, LLC operates the Express and Bonobos brands. Express is a multichannel apparel brand focused on modern, confident and effortless style, with retail and outlet stores in the United States and Puerto Rico, an online store, and a mobile app.

The Sales Associate provides an excellent in-store shopping experience while helping with store tasks such as stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise. The role includes maintaining orderly, safe and inviting store areas; following company policies; supporting product launches; processing transactions; resolving or escalating customer service issues; and promoting credit and loyalty programs. Other essential functions may be assigned by a supervisor.

The position is at the Somerset Collection store. Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; PHOENIX does not sponsor work visas for this position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–2 years of relevant job experience, with a minimum of 6 months.
• Proficiency using technology such as iPads and registers.
• Availability that meets defined criteria, including nights, weekends and non-business hours.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Customer service skills and ability to interact with customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, particularly with customers, sales leadership and associates.
• Demonstrated collaborative skills and ability to work well within a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, organized and safe sales floor, checkout, fitting room and stock room.
• Follow company policies and procedures to help ensure the safety of associates and customers.
• Assist with product launch changes according to company standard operating procedures.
• Deliver all aspects of the customer experience model.
• Process transactions quickly and accurately to reduce customer wait times.
• Resolve customer service issues and determine whether to escalate them; communicate issues and resolutions to Store Management.
• Explain the benefits of credit and loyalty programs and encourage customer participation.
• Perform other essential functions as directed by a supervisor.
• Assist with stocking, cleaning and folding merchandise.
