About The Position

J.Jill is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to build customer relationships, provide personalized service and styling advice, and create a welcoming, positive shopping experience. The associate helps customers find products, contributes to sales goals, and develops strong knowledge of J.Jill merchandise. The role also supports store presentation and operations, including visual merchandising, floor sets, marketing, product processing and replenishment, markdowns and promotions, cleanliness, and backroom organization. Associates work collaboratively with the store team and help address customer needs in a friendly, solution-oriented way.

Requirements

• Passion for fashion, styling, and creating a welcoming customer experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing and pulling, and maneuvering around the store; hang and fold merchandise; climb ladders; operate POS registers and company mobile devices; occasionally operate a trash compactor where applicable and use a hand truck; lift and carry up to 30 pounds; and participate in joint or team lifting.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
