About The Position

The Sales Associate acts as the primary point of contact for customers, assisting with plan-o-grams, stocking merchandise, and performing various duties to enhance profitability, customer satisfaction, and teamwork while safeguarding company assets.

Requirements

• Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of safety policies and practices.
• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Knowledge of basic cash handling procedures.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Ability to perform IBM cash register functions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and process merchandise according to company procedures.
• Build and maintain merchandise displays, stock shelves, and rotate products.
• Assist customers in locating merchandise and provide support.
• Handle customer purchases using the cash register and bag items.
• Process customer payments and provide correct change.
• Assist with merchandise ordering using hand-held scanners.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including dusting, mopping, and cleaning restrooms.
• Set up sidewalk displays as needed.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
