About The Position

The Sales Associate delivers an outstanding customer experience by providing exceptional service, engaging with customers, identifying their needs, offering personalized recommendations, and promoting the store’s membership program. The role supports sales performance and store success by connecting with customers, maintaining a positive and welcoming environment, and promoting products with enthusiasm and energy. The position is temporary and part-time. The schedule is flexible to support business needs and may include days, evenings, weekends, potential overnight shifts, and travel as necessary. The pay rate is USD $15.92 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Strong communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Basic math abilities.
Ability to access and organize stock in high storage areas while following safety protocols.
Availability for a flexible schedule that may include days, evenings, weekends, potential overnight shifts, and travel as necessary.

Responsibilities

Promptly greet and assist customers, acknowledge their presence, offer assistance, and manage multiple customers at once.
Anticipate and fulfill customer needs by using product knowledge to assess preferences, answer questions, guide customers to merchandise, and provide tailored recommendations.
Use suggestive selling techniques and stay knowledgeable about product availability.
Maintain visual merchandising standards by keeping product displays organized and attractive.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
Perform inventory management tasks, including restocking and product organization.
Demonstrate product knowledge to recommend and sell merchandise effectively.
Maintain a clean and professional store environment.
Participate in store promotions and sales events to support business objectives.
Access and organize stock in high storage areas, retrieving and placing items efficiently while following safety protocols.
