About The Position

The Sales Associate helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for vision needs in the community by ensuring patients and customers receive a high-quality experience. The role combines customer service and sales with assisting customers in selecting eyewear and vision solutions. Associates contribute to a positive, inclusive store environment and help maintain attractive, organized displays and inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of retail or customer service experience.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
• Ability to embrace new technology and change while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to sell using sales skills, take accountability for sales results, and desire to meet goals.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Self-motivation and demonstrated ability to multitask and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
• Use optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
• Assist patients with frame selection and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose vision solutions.
• Take measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with an Optician as needed.
• Contribute to a positive store environment and foster professional relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
• Maintain clean, attractive, and organized store displays and inventory.
• Treat customers and colleagues with respect and help foster an inclusive culture.
