About The Position

The Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB) is hiring Part-Time Sales Associates – Intermittent Liquor Store Clerks (ILSC) to join their Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores. They are seeking friendly, motivated individuals who are passionate about delivering top-notch customer service and creating a welcoming shopping experience. As a Part-Time Sales Associate, you will be the face of the store – engaging with customers, assisting with sales, and contributing to a positive shopping atmosphere. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must meet the PA residency requirement.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
Must pass a background investigation.
Applicants with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment are not permitted to work for the PLCB.
Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Nice To Haves

Preferred availability: 20 – 28 hours per week.
Flexible shifts are available, typically ranging from 4 – 6 hours per shift.
Availability on a rotating basis will be scheduled during the week with daytime and evening hours as well as the weekend with daytime and evening hours.
Ability to work more hours per week, depending on availability.
Opportunity to work up to 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service, helping shoppers find what they need.
Manage sales transactions with a computerized cash register.
Unload shipments, stock shelves, and set up product displays.
Receive, assemble, and pack wholesale customer orders, loading them into vehicles.
Safely lift products weighing 30 to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds, ensuring both personal safety and product protection.
Stand for extended periods of time.
Keep the store clean and organized.
Utilize scanners, box cutters, dollies, carts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Follow all legal guidelines to ensure alcohol is sold only to customers who are legally permitted to buy it.
