About The Position
Nell Hill's is seeking a part-time or full-time seasonal Sales Associate to join their busy team at the Briarcliff store. This is a relationship-first, guest-facing role where the associate will build genuine connections with guests, understand their preferences, and help them find pieces that feel like home. The ideal candidate will genuinely love connecting with others, be enthusiastic in a retail environment, and find joy in helping customers create a home they love. The store is described as a beautifully curated, ever-changing space filled with inspiring furniture, accessories, florals, and design, where customers come to be inspired.
Requirements
- Genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people
- Warm, curious, and interested in people
- Passionate about beautiful spaces, home décor, or design
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
- Adaptable to a lively retail environment with frequent guest interaction
- Comfortable with register experience

Responsibilities
- Welcome every guest with authentic enthusiasm
- Get to know guests, understand their space, and what they're drawn to
- Offer thoughtful product knowledge and design inspiration
- Build lasting connections with repeat customers
- Communicate current promotions, new arrivals, and upcoming events
- Process purchases and returns accurately and with care
- Maintain the store displays
- Restock merchandise, support floor moves, and assist with visual updates
- Assist with tagging, product placement, and inventory labeling
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Communicate guest needs, product feedback, and opportunities to store leadership
- Support store events, seasonal setups, and day-to-day operations
- Show up for teammates
