About The Position

Iowa 80 Truckstop is seeking enthusiastic and customer-friendly individuals to join our team as a Sales Associate. This full-time position offers stability, benefits, and a flexible schedule. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for all sales activities, providing outstanding customer service, and maintaining a professional attitude that reflects the store's commitment to its customers. Our mission is to be 'A Place Where People Want to Stop,' and we are looking for individuals who can contribute to this goal. This role involves cross-training in other departments as needed. We are committed to providing a safe work environment and require pre-employment drug tests and background checks, as well as random drug testing for employees.

Requirements

Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to read, write and effectively communicate with customers, peers, and management.
Positive telephone etiquette.
Ability to multitask, while being attentive to customers and remaining flexible to the needs of the business.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and grabbing.
May occasionally involve stooping, kneeling, crouching, or climbing ladders.
Standing for at least eight-hour shifts.
Required to work weekends and holidays.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
